The Islamic Philosopher Path
Islamic philosophy encompasses the rich intellectual tradition of thinkers working within or responding to the Islamic world, from the great translators and commentators of the early Abbasid period to the theologians, mystics, and jurists of the classical age. It ranges from Al-Kindi's first synthesis of Greek thought with Islamic theology, through Avicenna's towering philosophical system, to the Sufi metaphysics of Ibn Arabi and the historiographical philosophy of Ibn Khaldun.
