Hermeticism

Hermeticism is a tradition of esoteric philosophy tracing to the Hermetic corpus, attributed to the mythical sage Hermes Trismegistus. It blends Neoplatonism, astrology, and theurgy with a vision of the cosmos as a living, interconnected whole. Influential in the Renaissance, it offered an alternative account of nature, the soul, and the path to divine knowledge.
